I am currently reading Pandora by Anne Rice (though it's the first time I've read this book).

I think Anne Rice is an amazing author. And if you havent already read any of her novels I would strongly reccomend you do.

What are you're favourite novels, favourite authors or what are you currently reading?

I will definitely agree with you about Anne Rice.  She is definitely one of my favorites!!!!

I am currently reading '' If You Want to be A Witch" by Edain McCoy.  I like her writing.  Its easy to read, follow and straight to the point.  She has written several books on witchcraft.  If you haven't already, check it out. ;)

Don't necessarily have a favorite author, I mainly read what catches my eye. Right now I am reading Dante's Inferno... So far so good.

I like mainly fantasy, horror, crime and psychology novels.  I'm currently reading all the Inspector Wexford novels I can lay my hands on.  Luckily, my local book store has good offers on at the moment :)

I just finished reading Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice, who is one of my favorite authors. Yesterday I started reading At the Mountain of Madness and other tales of terror by HP Lovecraft, another favorite author of mine.

but the most recent book was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and just like the other books this one was amazing.  ;D

And I agree with the ones above as well Anne Rice is a great author.

I just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I've read all Anne Rice. Anything eerie I'm there.

I'm currently reading 'Mummy's Witness' by Gayle Sanders.

Well, when I'm not in the middle of yet another reread of JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series...lol...

Right now I'm working on Kate Douglas's "Wolf Tales" series, and thinking of starting LKH's "A Lick of Frost", but I'm hearing rumors that something bad happens to Frost in that book and Frost is tied with Doyle for my favorite character, so I'm kind of dreading it....

Oh do read it, honestly I had the same thoughts and I totally loved it, it was totally worth it, I have read nearly all of LKH's books and at the moment am reading Christine Feehan's Dark Legend from the Carpathian series a bit of downtime after finishing Uni for the year.

The Templar Legacy, by Steve Berry.

I really like this book, as it is the best one I have come across that encompasses most, if not all, of the legends about the Knights and merges them all into a really plausible, easy-to-follow plotline.

Mehtare, is it fiction or non-fiction?
It sounds like something I may want to check out!

Right now I'm reading "Cape Breton Road" by D.R. MacDonald and a beginners guide to fossils.

I also just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I loved it. I've never cried that much over a book. I am now in the process of re-reading All Creature's Great and Small by James Herriot. I haven't read it since highschool but it's one of my favorites. I am a sucker for a heart warmer.  ;D

I have read almost all of the Carpathian series by Christine Feehan. I loved them all! Most of the Dark Hunter series by S. K. is also on my shelves. As well as Anne Rice, and Peirs Anthony. I also have a weakness for historical romances ( I honestly don't know how many of those I have read over the years. ::) )

It is fiction... but yes, by all means pick it up when you get a chance.

I had to finally buy my own copy; when I first learned of this book about a year ago, I could never get to the library in time to check it out, as someone else always got to it before I could. It seemed to be that popular!

Right now I'm reading a book called The Ravening by Dawn Thompson.  My first time ever reading one of her books.  But so far its really good.  Its a vampire love story.

It is the beginning of a new quarter here at college. The only thing I'm reading right now is my new books for class.

"La Eneida" or "The Aeneid" by Virgil and "Steppenwolf" (again) by Hermann Hesse, I love this book! And recently I got "The History of Sexuality" by Michel Foucault I have great expectations on this reading.

Today I started reading Lord of The Flies again. I've read it a few times already.

The wonderful thing about the classics it's that you always discover something different; previously unnoticed details emerge to the light.

Once again I am going back and trying to finish The Tommyknockers by Stephen King. I have been trying to finish this one since high school. Now that I'm stuck at home I finally have the time LOL! I'll let you all know what I think when I'm finally done. :)

I recently finished Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach. It's non-fiction and strangely funny without being disrespectful of the dead. It details the many different things that are done with the those who have donated their remains to science. I really liked it.

I'm reading one of the Merry Gentry books by Laurell K. Hamilton.

I`m currently re-reading Thea Beckman`s Crusade in Jeans. Its still good.

Again Thea Beckmann. The book is named Hasse Simonsdochter. I am not sure it has ever been translated into English.

Its about a girl that lives in 16th century Brugge(Southern Holland, Belgium nowadays) who escapes from being a victim of an arranged marriage. She steals a fast horse, and storms into France.Then the story really begins.

Great book. One of the local classics.

I just finished reading Kelley Armstrongs 'No Humans Involved'. It was great and I'm waiting for her next book to come out in paperback.

Now I've picked up Guy Gavriel Kay's 'Ysabel' but I'm having trouble getting into it, which I find is common with many of his books, but by the end I always end up loving them.

I read Ysabel recently. I would be interested in knowing what you think of it.

I recently finished reading "One Foot in the Grave" by Jeaniene Frost.  Suffice to say, it had a lot more adult content than I anticipated.  It threw me off guard, but at the same time, the over all plot was still good, so it would still be a 3 or 4 out of 5 for me (if I rated it).

Currently I've begun reading Lord Byron selected poems. Very nice works, just extremely long winded.

I'd like to be able to read some older texts.

I'd love to be able to find some books on the fabled Avalon.

I'm currently reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

I'm kind of new to these kinds of big books really. But I think I can do it. ^^

And I also want to read my second choice. A book written by Edgar Allan Poe(with a Swedish title).

Poe is incredible.

Onder vreemde vlag(transl. Under a foreign flag), by Rende van de Kamp.

The author describes his time serving in the Royal Netherlands Army, Mayor Haddad`s militia in Lebanon, The French Foreign Legion, and the Croatian Army. He also describes his aid in the attempted coup in Suriname(small former Dutch colony in South America)

Its by no means a PC book, but it sure is quite the story. The guy has been under 24/7 Intelligence service surveillance for many years, and many people over here were not really happy with this book. I like it though. :)

I'm finishing Dracula. This book has kept me engrossed from since I picked it up. In fact I am pretty picky with what I read. I am going to be starting Speaks the Nightbird.

I'm currently reading "Roadside Geology of Indiana." it is a science text for minerals, geology, and fossils of the IN area. :)

I usually read many books at a time.. right now I'm reading The Egyptian Book of the Dead, and an Encyclopedia on Ancient Egypt..

But my main read right now is "Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Millennium", by Vivianne Crowley.

Right now I'm reading Dark Angels by Karleen Koen and Your Aura and Your Chakras by Karla McLaren.

Dark Angels is awesome so far, I'm only on Chapter 6.

I don't see why audiobooks wouldn't count. It's as if someone else is reading a book to you, just like when we were little kids. I feel the same about E-books, just download them and read.

Anyway, last book I read was my Physics book.

Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill

He's a really talented author. I was afraid he was getting published because of his dad. Apparently not. I am really loving this book.

I'm re-reading Interview with the Vampire.
It gets me in the mood for fall.  :)

Nearing the end of Nocturnal by Scott Sigler. Currently only available in audio, but free on his website.

We have a Half Price Book Store here and yesterday they had books 20% off of the half price, so I picked up three. One is The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley (I've been wanting to read this one for a while now, after seeing the movie) I started reading it last night and so far I'm enjoying it.

Ancestors of Avalon that was written by Diana Paxson.
and Celtic Myth and Magick by Edain McCoy.
I don't know if the last one will be good, but at those prices, I thought what the hell! lol

You got a great deal on Mists of Avalon! I read that book several years ago and it was exquisitely engrossing. I love her spin on the Arthurian legends.

It's used, but it's in good shape. I payed less then $5.00 for it! lol
I've always been very interested in Arthurian legends. So, this is right up my alley!

It's quite good, really.

Anne Rice definately always been my fave...
