Found this article on Discovery Channel website, but the whole story was on the Associated Press. Thought everyone here would be interested in reading it.

This is really interesting. It's nice to see the view on the Americas changing. It's been along time coming. For generations it's been thought that the Americas were so far behind the rest of the world. I'm glad that we now have proof that that isn't the case.

There has been a tendency to discount the cultures of the Americas as very primitive.
