I know many who go to a mall or concert and just take in the excess energy that is floating around. This does no harm to anyone. Have you tried that?

Are you at the begining, that you seek the end?

I've tried it... but just with standing next to someone. I felt really bad, because I couldn't tell them, even though they didn't seem to take much notice.

I usually wait until everyone's sleeping so I can step outside. The good thing is, the ocean is right there. It really calms me down, I noticed Nicholas said that as well. It's hard when you have to sit outside during the day to be social- not to become animalistic when I'm burning in that weird way.

I probably do take in energy without realizing it, though. So I should.. think of it as natural then?

Depends on how much you draw, if you are conscious of the fact, and you are taking in more then you should then you need to be careful.

Thank you, Assai. The Black Veil makes a lot of sense... I do want to be more conscience of what I'm doing. I guess I will work on that Smiley.

Smiley No problem, it is funny though. Ever sense I saw you mention that I have been seeing this subject brought up more on other forums, and also I've had a few inquiries sent to me personally. It has really made me think about how much the Black Veil is a stance on our morality, and how there ARE those individuals who abuse our gifts.
I've heard some disturbing stories..

I've run into quite a few who abuse, which I find appalling.

Most of it is about draining plants to the point of death, which I'm not sure if they are trying to boast, or if they actually can achieve that. Because quite frankly, if your grammar isn't good, I have a hard time believing you.  Tongue

As someone wise once said, "with great power come great responsibility."

I met someone once who barged into my head and started... well I don't know what exactly, but it definitely wasn't welcome. I really stressed the point that it was abusive and that he had a god-complex, and he hasn't looked me in the eye since, but I get the feeling that he understood. I think some people just don't see why they should exercise caution, especially around those who don't know what's going on and are unprepared to defend themselves. I'm pretty strong-willed, but a lot of people aren't.

draining plants to death... that doesn't sound very grateful Sad. HAHA, I totally agree with you about grammar XD it just makes sense!

Quote
There are a few psy vampires that tend to feed on the elements, a wind storm, lightening, thunder storms, or all things in nature.
If you have ever tried this, please explain your experience with it. Did it sustain you enough, or is this something you do when a donor is not available to you?

I have to be honest here, I don't know what I consider myself. All I know is that I definitely get something from other people, and sometimes the animals I work with. I don't know what it is and I don't intend to do it. Sometimes it drains me sometimes it makes me hyper or content and other times extremely sad, sometimes it leave me feeling odd.... But that's another topic:

I can say, I get such energy from Thunder Storms! It doesn't matter how I'm feeling or how tired I am, when one comes around I am awake, alert and full of energy and happy. Even if I am in a dead sleep I will wake right up. When there is a Thunder Storm around me nothing will ruin my mood. And I love the buildup before the storm, that's when I feel the energy start to rise in me!

Wind is another thing. It may sound silly but when I was younger I used to sit and see if the wind would come to me, and I thought it would. May be a coincidence, who knows. All I know is I love the feel of the wind around me, in my hair and on my skin. When it starts to die down I almost want to beg it to stay. It has almost the same effect as a Thunder Storm with me.

It's ok to not know "what you are". Labels are really just things we stick on for convenience. You are whatever you are. Smiley

It doesn't sound silly at all about the storms and the wind.
