Hello Everyone

I always find and I think most people do that this time of year always inspires me to do something new and hopefully exciting. I was just wondering if anyone else felt that way and what are some things that you would like to do.

Here are a few that I'm doing.

1. Going to see my brother, haven't seen him in about two years and haven't even met one of my nieces yet, and it will also be my daugthers first plane ride and first trip across the country. I'm looking forward to seeing some new sites.
2. Finding a new job, which I desperately need and it can be a hassle but it's exciting too.
3. Creating a new sacred space, with altar and objects that will help me to stay focused when I am meditating or doing spells and rituals.
4. I'm going to be sending out my first ever Query letter to Publishing Agents about my novel. It's very frightening and nerve racking but I am looking forward to it, even if it takes a while to get picked up. It is definately a new thing and one that has taken me a long time to build up the nerve to do.
5. A new Yoga program, not all that exciting but it's new
6. Looking in to taking a martial arts class and a dance class, hopefully I can find ones that my daughter and I can do together.

So that's about it. Of course all that will start when I get back from my trip but it gives me something to look forward to.

What do you have planned or what are some things that you'd like to do but never really looked into or went further with it.

Maybe we can encourage and support one another to find and try new things.

Either way, Hope you are all enjoying the Spring weather and having a good Easter.

Good post!

I hope to be moving soon to a new town, so that will be a new beginning.
I also want to establish a new sacred space when I move.
I want to set up a studio area in which to do my artwork in the best environment possible, with all of my supplies easily accessible.

What a great post!!!

I just bought a house on my own.
I also joined a gym.
I am going away in Apirl.

My New Year started off really bad, and now I'm getting things together.  I think this is the perfect post to help people think about what they want and go after it.  When your down the best thing is to get back up and be stronger then ever.

I'll be working on the music thing, along with the blues club and I just bought a new car so I guess that should keep me happy for a while.  I'm also looking at new avenues, career wise.  As much as I love my job now, I'm beginning to feel it's better left to the younger generation who have a much lower burn out factor.

Burn out is a real factor in jobs like that. I know in my old job it was a terrible problem. Good luck on the music venture hun. *hugs*

Congratulations on the new house Magic!

Good luck with the Publishing Anathema, I really hope it all works out for you!!

Well, I am 27 and I just found my real father this year. I also found out I have 3 half sisters!!! My father lives in Greece and so do 2 of my sisters. My other sister just moved to America and she lives in Massachusetts. I met her a few months ago. My father calls me on Saturday nights and I am going to Greece to meet him (and the rest of my family) in October! Oh, and I am going to learn Greek!

That is amazing Kitty.

I have been asked to be a trainer for the LGHS. This is new role for me as I have never really taught much of anything.

A little update on the new things.

I did go see my brother and had a lovely time, our daughters got along great and spent the entire time playing together. He's trying to convince me to move there.
I did change the furniture around and was able to create an altar and display more of my 'inspiring' creative endeavours.
I also started on my Quitting Smoking program today, I know it's only the first day but so far it's going ok.

I've decided to quit my present job completely so that I can focus on finding a new one, which I will start to do on Monday.

That's about it.

Anything NEW going on with everyone else?

Thats really good Anathema.

Kitty that is great, I am so happy that you found him and are able to reconnect.

Looks like things are turning out good for people.

My next task is to save up as much money as I can before I move in to my house. That way I can get want I need and want when I move in.

Wow! It does look like everybody has good things coming their way this year!  Grin

As for me... we have the new baby coming ( more on that in a new thread!!), my new line of clothing and other merchandise on zazzle.com, still working on finishing the collection of short stories I'm writing, and we have decided that as soon as the baby is here we will be moving back to Arkansas. Either before Yule or the first bit of spring next year.

Plus I'm continuing to look for outlets for my music, though it looks as though I'll be going solo on that one, and I also opened my own Online Vampire House last month.

I hope everyone continues to have a great year!

                      hugs to all

I'm still working on getting an apartment. I have one coming, but it is unknown when it will become available. SO I sit and wait....half packed.
