I have searched for a topic like this but I didn't find one. If there is one please send a link.

How does the moon have an affect on vampires? Because this is a topic to see if there are any special effects on vampires, I would like "non-vampires" to write down the affect they noticed in themselves.

For myself I feel very comfortable in the moonlight. Especially if there is full moon. I can draw energy from the light but I don't know if that is special for vampires. I think that is normal magic.

This is simply my thought's on the matter.  I can't say that the moon has any specific effects on vampires in particular.  It has been proven through various studies and from my own personal observations on the behavior of people, that a full moon does have certain psychological effects on people.  The old cop adage that all the freaks and geeks come out on a full moon, does hold some truth.  Studies around the world have shown that incidents of arrests increase on the full moon and occurrences of a more serious nature are more prevalent.

I too have noticed the effects of the full moon on others. The ER get packed with injury both self inflicted and caused by others. People seem to get a little wilder to me.
As for myself I do notice that I have a very hard time sleeping at night even with the blinds shut tight.

Actually vampirism and magick are very closely related. Many do not want to see this, but they are related.
There's also a form of psychic vampirism where the vampire will feed on things in nature, they are called Elemental Vampires.

When I worked in the hospitals and in psych we always put extra help on the nights of the full moon. We always needed it too.

My one stepdad is a retired cop and they always put extras on where he worked (on the full moon).

When I used to work retail, we would get a lot of loud obnoxious stupid people coming into the store at every full moon. I would call my mom at the hospital on a few full moon occasions, just to warn her. She would always say "can't talk now, its a full moon and they have already started to pour in."

We used to think that people even bled more in ER on the full moon. It seemed that way.

I think the full moon does have magic to it.  It has something to do with the water in you body so I have heard.  I find that I have alot more energy.  I feel more sexy for some reason or other and love to see the moonlight comming in my room at night.

Melissa, do you mean that you cant be a magic vampire, or that many Mages are vampires (or the other way around)?
