A 2007 decision of New York City's Civil Service Commission reinstated a police officer even though NYPD has ruled him unfit for duty, in large part because he admitted to a "fear of dead people," which the department had thought would make his job difficult. It makes me wonder though...Does this mean other NYC cops think dead people are funny? Good for the man though. Its the law at its finest.
