The road of life is not always going to be an easy stroll, and there are times that things go on almost on top of each other that seem so hard to deal with that it really makes you aware...acutely aware of what you are made of.

If you are still alive, if you are still standing on your feet and you have been through hard things, you have proof that strength exists within you. Noone can change that , take it from you or make it their's.

I'm glad that I had hard things, hard jobs that were awful, hard times financially, hard relationships and losses.
They sculpted me, they strengthened me. Mostly they gave me the ability to feel and understand and be grateful where I have come.

I agree, without hard times, you would keep making the same mistakes over and over.  This way you become a stronger and better person.  Good post!!!

I couldn't agree more.

I have had a really bad year so far....actually it all started at the end of last year but it has made me so much more aware of what's inside of me and what I really want. Not to add grateful for the things I do have and for the wonderful people in my life. Lately it just seems everything is falling into place and it all makes sense when there was so much confusion before. All of my experiences in life have definitely made me a stronger person in so many ways.

I'm glad to hear that Kitty...Sometimes it takes something hard to make us see what we really need in life.

I agree...what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Those of us who have survived some of the worst life has to offer are often the strongest. We wouldn't have survived it otherwise.
I feel sorry for those who have never known strife and pain because when it comes they often don't know how to handle it and fight their way through.

I agree. Also I have noticed not just for me, but in general that the ones that are going through the hardest things complain and whine the least. When I'm going through the heavy stuff, I tend to not waste my energy whining about it.
