Hello everyone  Evil

I have a story I'd like to share with everyone about a local church here that is definitely something interesting. I learned of this church when I was still in high school, and being the very curious person that I am, I drove out one evening to check it out. It was on the border of my town and another even smaller town to the south. I took some long twisted roads on the way, and then unexpectedly, the paved road suddenly turned into mud and gravel. Driving down this muddy road for about a mile, then I see an odd looking little building on the left side of the road. I pull over into the small little grassy area in front and get out of my car. At first look, this place just looks creepy.

The church itself is no larger than a normal person's living room, it is painted all white and has a very steep pointed roof. When looking at the front, there are three steps that lead up to a cement porch, swinging front doors, and bright yellow, seemingly glow in the dark cross nailed above. When walking inside, there are a few beaten pews still making an atempt to stand, an old organ that looks as though someone had beaten with a baseball bat.. and when I look up, to my shock I see old ropes dangling from the ceiling boards. There are only 2 small windows on either side of this one room church, and the glass is very smudged and dirty.

When walking outside to the right of the church, there are about 20 unmarked graves. No stones, no marks, nothing. They are all very shallow graves though, still making an upward indention of about a foot up from the ground. Also something that was unnerving, is a lot of these graves were very small and short, leading me to believe they had been children and babies. Around the graves are circular areas lined with rocks and sticks and on the inside of these circles are stacks of sticks that looked like were used for fires. There are a few houses around this area, all of which are always seemingly empty, I've never seen anyone around, but there are always cars in front of them in the driveways. The entire area is spooky. I've taken a few pictures of the area, and they always come out cloudy, full of what looks to be long spherical fog as well as orbs galore. I don't know what happened there, but it obviously isn't as empty as it seems.

Sounds very interesting. I would like to visit there sometime and check it out. Smiley

That is quite an interesting story. When was the last time you were out there? Does it always have an eerie feeling to it? It just sounds creepy to me, but I'm chicken when it comes to these sort of places! lol

Sounds like a really cool place to check out. I would love to see some photos. Or even better, go there someday.

Yes I've been out there lately Smiley It's sad though, the weather and years are finally taking it's toll on the poor little building and the roof over the porch has fallen *sigh* It always has that feeling as if something sinister had taken place there, there was one person I took there who has always seemed to have a keen sense for these things, and refused to even get out of the car! But regardless, I'll keep going Smiley

You can always post them in the forum. Or if you have them uploaded on Photobucket or something similar you can supply a link. Wink
