This is going to go into many different subjects, for I have quite a few questions to ask, and idea's to share. Be warned.. this is not typed professionally, and I'm sure there are a few errors. But that shows how passionate I am about this. I have a lot in my head right now... so indeed, this is a super rant.Rant

First, the topic of old souls. This might sound redunant to those of you who have heard these questions before, because I feel as though I should know them, but I want to go by more than my intuition this time. Does an accepting/lethargic personality have anything to do with our metaphysical persona? I come to find that throughout this life time, so far, I really go about my life very casually. Yet, I seem to become angry at the "oddest" things, and I feel horrible because most of the time it is about how most people are not themselves all the time, IE "shadow self". But who am I to judge? THAT is exactly it, everything I do or others do, I feel as though I have done it before and nothing seems to excite me. Even when I was a child, this happened. I seem to be the big sister/matriarch figure with my friends, family, and they are all years older then me. And now, everything seems to be coming together, as if my past lives have set it up for me. I've always jumped into everything very quickly, I'm 20 and I have a 10 months old daughter, my own apartment, my own car, a successful job at a University. Bonk!

Can anyone relate to this?

Awakenings... now I just have a question on this, when your awakening is over, what is the usual sign of it?

When I was that age, I felt exactly the way you are feeling now, and in a similar situation. I had a full-time job, I was pursuing my AA Degree at the community college, and had a car (that was paid off) with insurance.

I have always lived my life casually and things don't really stress me out. I feel past lives have a hand in this, allowing me to jump into thing and pick them up naturally, because I feel I have already done them when I know in my mind I haven't.

As far as being excited, the last time that happened I was 18. It was my high school graduation and I really wasn't all that excited, just a little because I knew I was finally rid of that place.

I'm now 28 and I still feel the same way now as I did then. Don't know exactly what it is, but I don't see it as a problem either. This might just be one of those phases in life where a person has seen, or done so much in their life, that nothing excites or surprises them anymore.

Ok enough about my boring life Wink
It seems that you were just very mature for your age and still are. Past lives may have a hand in this, because you have lived out situations like this before.

Maybe someone OLDER could help us out...

It's very good to hear someone's input on this, because it doesn't make me feel as...uhmm.. insane. I don't know about the age thing though, I know I've always felt this way. But now I'm finally admitting it, and coming to terms. ..does that make sense?

Sorry but the answer is NO

I know I'm just at some point where I have been through so much in my life, and seen so much, that it doesn't phase me.

Maybe it is finally happening! We are becomming desensitized.

I do want to say though, that I believe that we have cycles of awakening. I don't truly believe it is ever "over".

I suppose with the awakening aspect, it depends on the individual and if they see vampirism as a  more spiritual thing or if they see it as a metaphysical condition.

That's the only thing I can think of at the moment as to why some talk as if they are done with their awakening and other's see it as a long process that never really ends. I think it also depends on the individual and how in-tune they are with themselves.

And hun, you're not any more insane then the rest of us, so I wouldn't worry about it!  Tongue

And I agree Melissa, everything really just goes back to the same place with these topics. It's ones own interpretation of the matter that defines it when all is said and done..
