Ever After with Drew Barrymore. I love that movie, it's kind of a different version of Cinderella and not animated.

Since I last reported in I have seen a few.
on DVD I found and purchased a copy of one of My personal favorites.

Dead End (2003) revolves around the Harrison family who with the daughters boyfriend set out for the in-laws house on Christmas eve.
The father (played perfectly by Ray Wise) decides to take a short cut this year that is anything BUT short or safe this year once they encounter The Lady In White.
This is an old fashioned spook story which stands out in the  of hyper violent crowd of contemporary horror films.
No bonus material.

Viacom gave Me a free copy of their Comedy Central Roast Of William Shatner.
The broadcast version of this program was 60 minuets in running time and was not as funny as it should have been .
The DVD has 20 more uncensored minuets which makes one wonder if the idea was to NOT try to perfect the broadcast version sines the rabid fans of Star Trek would be keener to see the DVD.
Bonus Material: There are 3 short subjects  on this disk- a Behind the scenes, Red Carpet interviews by a woman I never saw before and a making of featurette.

Also I got Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow which I am sure most of you know is a adventure story patterned after all the old depression era adventures with obvious cues from the Max Fleisher Superman cartoons and early era Sci Fi .
Bonus Material:There is quite a bit extra on this one with two commentaries, Brave New World part 1 and 2, The Art
World Of Tomorrow, Deleted Scenes, Gag Reel and subtitles.
I went ahead and bought DareDevil previously I had got Electra and decided it was a story worth having.
But DareDevil is a fine gritty believable Super Hero saga.
Bonus Material:
This film came in a two disk set, disk one had the film, audio/text commentary, enhance viewing, and a spoken track that details the action to blind viewers.
Disk Two contains too much to detail, but it has two 60 Minute documentaries, 6 feature-ts, multi angle studies, Jennifer Garners screen test, 3 music videos, and much more.

Spiderman 3. A little weepy at times, but the message was a good one.

Was able to follow the plot even though I haven't seen the first two.

Midnight Kiss, The Exorcist, and Jeepers Creepers 2!  I like horror best....lol.....I have Van Helsing on the DVR waiting for me, and weirdly enough for me, I also recorded "Sweet Home Alabama"....I finally gave in and have to see the movie with the line "You have a baby....in a bar....." even though technically it's not what I usually like!  Smiley

I watch Sweet Home Alabama too. I think it's a cute movie.
But the last movie I watched was The Three Musketeers and before that The second Pirates movie.

One of my all time favs.

Has anyone seen Dead Whisper? I got shafted into watching it for review by my good friend Keith, the LGHS president.

I watched Dead Whisper. There is an hour of my life I'll never get back. It is more of a documentary type movie. Robbie Thomas joins members of the Indiana Ghost Trackers on some investigations. But it was more of a video of investigating and evidence. They get a few EVPs. But when the lady from Ghost Trackers tried to make a case that dust orbs only happen in haunted locations I couldn't take it anymore. She said if it is just dust then why doesn't orbs show up in normal homes? Well, they do. We get a ton of photos from people's homes with dust orbs in them. It is just dust. While there are real energy orbs, I have seen 2 legitimate photos out of more than a 1000.

What can I say Groovy Ninja, Our lives would ALL be better if we didn't have to sit through bad movies.
I bought one called' Leeches '  I gave it immediately to my niece, no scares just boys from a swimming team prancing around in swimsuits.
If a teenage girl didn't get something from THAT no one would.
But thank you for the warning about Dead Whisper, that is a deceptive title that doesn't state what the movie really is, it sounds like a cheap effort to capitalise on the success of shows like Ghost Hunters and all those shows we find on Travel Channel every Friday.

Tonight I will be watching Audition. Here is a brief synopsis of the movie.

Audition (2001)
A widowed TV producer is encouraged by his teenage son to remarry before he gets too old. Unable to find anyone suitable, he decides to hold auditions for a false movie in order to test out potential wives. He thinks he may have found the one he is looking for when he auditions a former ballerina, but she seems too good to be true and an investigation into her past reveals a horrific secret.
Genres: Art/Foreign, Suspense/Horror, Thriller and Adaptation
