I would love to read and learn more Poppy!

I have always heard about Buddha, seen the statues and know people who have them, but never knew the true meaning behind it. And yes, I was under the impression he was worshiped as a god. I also didn't know the meaning of the word Buddha. Very interesting!!!!!!

I was under the same impression.  Good Posting!

I had a friend in high school who had a few Buddha statues. I always heard you were supposed to rub the belly of the statue for "good luck", but in the last few years I heard it has changed to his bald head.

I know that is all silly, but does anyone know where that got started?
