I recently had Doug and Bonnie from Ghostly talk Radio and Shaun Burris from the Ghostman and Demonhunter show come spend the weekend with me. They came just to visit and see the baby. But being the paranormal enthusiast we are, a ghost hunt was a must. So I chose to get some other LGHS members and do an off the clock unofficial hunt in the Casey cemetery located in Elizabethtown KY. This cemetery is also known as Hells Gate because if the wicked gate which used to be there. Unfortunately the gate has been removed due to vandalism. Casey cemetery is very old. It is known to have activity plus it is just cool so Casey cemetery was the perfect place for us to go.The newest grave there was placed in the 1920s. There are other graves there dating back to the 1800's. To get there you must drive down a country road. The further back you go the farther apart the houses get until you see fields and a house every once in a while. When you finally reach the entrance to the cemetery a winding gravel road must be taken to reach the burial area. This drive is like the perfect opening for a Scooby Doo episode. Then you park and walk down a short path to the cemetery itself.

As soon as we arrived people started having equipment problems. Three different digital voice recorders with brand new batteries went dead. After replacing batteries we were good to go.  One of the camera's flash get going off by itself even when no one was holding the camera. One of the LGHS members kept having odd feelings near certain grave markers. We had a digital SLR actually take a double exposure. Digital cameras are not physically capable of double exposure as there is no film to expose. You can't double expose a digital file. We have another photo which is still undergoing analysis. But it was taken near a marker where an EVP was captured and one of the investigators getting a strong enough impression to get the same name as what came out on the EVP. It was a lot of fun and a cool experience. We had to cut things short as some local kids showed up, probably to vandalize. We waited till they left to ensure they didn't damage anything then had to make the drive back to Louisville.

I thought Elizabethtown was just a movie! See you learn something new every day! LOL
You didn't happen to run into Orlando Bloom down there did you?  Wink

Sounds like you had quite the evening. It will be interesting to find out if you got any evidence from this hunt.
