Watch the video, read the article, and then post what you think.

Looks like a little spider on the camera lens to me, Bobby.

I don't think it's an appriation, that's for sure. I thought maybe it was just a glare from the sun when I first looked at the video. I definitely think it's something that can be debunked. I've noticed lately that a lot of people will automatically jump to the conclusion that something is paranormal without really investigating the possibilities that it could be something easily explained. With the movement of whatever it is, I'd say it's probably some kind of insect.

Here's an update on this story...

Expert: Mysterious floating object caught on tape was tree fluff or insect

A professional ghost investigator performed experiments Wednesday at the spot outside the state district courthouse where a mysterious image appeared last week, but he found no evidence of paranormal activity.

In the end, Benjamin Radford, managing editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine, said he was “virtually certain” the floating ball of light caught by a surveillance camera early Friday morning was a piece of tree fluff or a spider or insect crawling across the camera lens.

“I get this all the time,” Radford said. “Any one of us can be fooled. But you have to go with what’s most likely. And in this case, the best explanation is that it’s not a ghost.”

While I normally don't feel the word of someone who makes their living from being a skeptic can be fully trusted. I do agree that it is a spider. Blown up a little on my monitor the legs can be seen moving. And for the records, I have no problem with skeptics. I am quite skeptical myself. But people whose livelihood depend on it have ulterior motives.

I agree.  There are times that some of these skeptics are too skeptical and not open minded enough to even be looking into fields such as the paranormal. There are even times with TAPS, that I think they may lean a little too skeptical. But most of the time I agree with them. When it comes Ghost Hunters or Most Haunted, I take TAPS more seriously. A little off topic, but I felt I needed to explain a little further.

Yeah you have to be skeptical to remain objective. People who make a living at it have no reason to be open minded, bad for business. The Amazing Randy comes to mind. TAPS may overdue it because of being under major public scrutiny.
