I'm reading one of the Merry Gentry books by Laurell K. Hamilton.

Again Thea Beckmann. The book is named Hasse Simonsdochter. I am not sure it has ever been translated into English.

Its about a girl that lives in 16th century Brugge(Southern Holland, Belgium nowadays) who escapes from being a victim of an arranged marriage. She steals a fast horse, and storms into France. Then the story really begins.

Great book. One of the local classics.

Kind regards,
Wilhelm

I just finished reading Kelley Armstrongs 'No Humans Involved'. It was great and I'm waiting for her next book to come out in paperback.

Now I've picked up Guy Gavriel Kay's 'Ysabel' but I'm having trouble getting into it, which I find is common with many of his books, but by the end I always end up loving them.

I read Ysabel recently. I would be interested in knowing what you think of it.

I recently finished reading "One Foot in the Grave" by Jeaniene Frost.  Suffice to say, it had a lot more adult content than I anticipated.  It threw me off guard, but at the same time, the over all plot was still good, so it would still be a 3 or 4 out of 5 for me (if I rated it).

I thought you were coming to my place to fight them off together?
