Do you feel it's absolutely necessary to use or have all the magickal tools such as, an Athame, Wand, Broom, Chalice, Pentacle and Cauldron?
Please explain.

Melissa, I don't think that its necessary, but it helps. I believe that magic can be truly effective, no matter how much or little tools you have as long as you are focused and sincere about what your doing.

The use of tools really have no meaning to me. I usually just think about what I want done and go from there. I guess that I take the meditation stand point of it all. Although I do use magical items, the tools really make no never mind to me because I can just make them if need be. (Make sense? man I hope so.)

To me the tools are just symbols. They are something that appeals to the part of our mind that has nothing to do with logic. They also can provide a focus.
I don't think they are necessary to workings, but I do think they help. They can be replaced with other things, though.
I also believe they help some people more than others.

I'd like to have some.  Books for sure, so I don't feel like I'm winging it.  Some of the statues are gorgeous.  But do I need them?  The Mother and Father only ask for what is in your means to do.  They know where your heart is.

Honestly, I don't think its necessary to use all those items.  They're great if they help one to channel energy, but they are not necessary.  I believe nature gives you everything you need, but again, its a personal preference thing too.  I honestly associate those items mostly with a Wiccan path though, and I'm more of an eclectic green witch. Not at all.  These are tools used in order to help us focus on our magick, they are not the magick itself.  The 'real' magick comes from within.  I own a broom.  It looks lovely on my kitchen wall, and that's where it's stayed ever since I bought it lol.

I do, however, have a cauldron that I use on a regular basis...mainly for cooking.

I do not have all of those.  The only thing I recall having is a pentegram, which I keep in my jewelry box of memento objects. ;-)  I respect what the symbol represents, but I have not worn a holy symbol of any kind in a while.  I may though get another a Kali yantra, or something similar.

When I get into formal practices in the future, I may use nothing more than incense and a statuette maybe, and my mantras/incantations. ;-)  These are the objects of focus I think I will need.

Sincerely,
