Hello,
I am a hybrid gray witch from the west coast of Canada. I am not use to outing myself about vampirism because of the negativity surrounding it and it was bad enough growing up in the pagan community with negatives towards it from the secular religions. I find that most Wiccans do not understand that it is possible to be vampiristic as well as witch but then again it is probably due to misconceptions and fear of it. Anyways I've been rather reluctant to speak about it until I felt comfortable within myself. I came tripping out to find others to make friends with or at least alliances and to also learn more about this condition, so while I was on the VCMB I caught the link to here. I am  interested in all things paranormal mystical and mythological because they pertain to my beliefs and practices. Outside of this I enjoy writing music and songs, watching movies, puttering around in my garden, going hiking on wild herbal hunts, and relaxing nights out with company at a local haven.

I've come across quite a few Wiccans who are vampiric and I've also come across some who are somewhat confused, because they are wiccan and have a hard time and struggling with their vampirism. And I joined a site once that was recommended to me by another pagan community/Myspace like website where they were predominately Wiccan and didn't allow discussion or vampires on their website. *shakes head* I found that really sad that they would discriminate like that. So, I understand where you are coming from. To me, vampirism has nothing to do with religion or religious choices. It's all about ethics and I believe you have to have ethics in vampirism as well. There's a happy medium, it's just sad that some just don't realize this.

Well it sure is a pleasure to meet you all as well. It is nice to be able to talk with others now a days with the internet. I remember the dark days of the BBS, 16 baud modems and so very few places to talk about topics like the ones spoken here. We've all come along way out of the dark ages.
