I can vaguely sense the presence of discarnate entities at times, but I have one clearly-defined encounter that comes to mind. This happened over 10 years ago.

I was in that odd state where one is not quite asleep but not quite awake. I sensed an extremely powerful presence around me and actually felt a pair of strong hands cradling my head. Suddenly I was out of my body, looking at myself laying on the floor. There was a dark, human-shaped form kneeling at my head, its hands under my head. It was a shadow which was darker than the surrounding darkness. It didn't feel malevolent but I was so shocked at seeing myself and felt so helpless that I wanted to end the experience. I started growling and woke up beacuse of the sound. I felt the presence of the entity for a while longer, then it dissipated and I went back to sleep.

I haven't had an experience like that since. I think I've become skeptical in some ways and have become less psychically open. I'm working on reversing that.

On the land here, is common to see old Indian spirits. Many.  With me I see them quit often. I know there is a spirit always with me but I don't mind, I see many but I don't mind. One time that concerned me was when I was like 10 years old, well I was worried because I kept seeing something around my sister by this time she was going though hard times, she had lost friends, so this spirit follows her every where. A tall dark spirit. so I asked the shaman to bless her but something was wrong. I just didn't know. So then 2 months later the thing have left and I saw that my sister found a friend to be with. Then I knew that spirit was with her because the spirit was lonely too. Many ghost/spirits I see have the same feeling since they have died. Going on.
But things are always happening here. No matter when.........

Bobby: Have you ever encountered any "non-human" entities? I am curious if you believe they exist.

I don't really have many experiences.

Lol, yeah, but I always doubt myself.  And it only lasted a second.

I doubt nothing when it comes to ghosts or the unseen. I have a few in my home now. Noises in the night, bumps to the bed when sleeping. My 2 yr old sees them. There should be no doubts at what is not seen. Activity in my home is cool. The lights will go out for no reason then come right back on. Its all good.

Lol, well here goes.  Bobby and I were at a preliminary investigation one afternoon.  We had a few moments where we didn't have anything to do but stand around, so we stood between the kitchen and living room of the homeowners house.  This is a small, older house, where the kitchen and living room are pretty well connected (no wall between them), and to the right, a corridor  led off to the other rooms of the house.  Well, Bobby and I were standing in the area between the kitchen and living room, almost in the hall.  I kind of zoned out while he was talking (I often lose my focus), and while looking down towards the floor, I caught in my peripheral vision, a black blob kind of fly out from under the side table in front of us.  This black blob flew out from the small table, up, and was then gone.  I kind of discounted it as nothing, although it freaked me out enough to look more closely at where the blob had come from and everywhere else around us.  The main reason as to why I discounted the experience was because the table and hardwood floors were both a darkish brown and the table cast a dark shadow as well.  I kept that experience to myself until Bobby, the lead investigator, and I went upstairs.  I told Bobby what I had seen, and surprisingly enough, it matched, to a degree, what the homeowners had experienced.  Before that I had tried my best not to listen to what the homeowners had told the other investigators, so as to not taint any experiences I may or may not have, or to make any premature conclusions about the house.  We went back to the first level of the house and played with the lights, to see if we could somehow replicate what I had seen, but it couldn't be done.  We couldn't find any reasons as to why I had seen what I did, and it made it even stranger that the homeowners saw the same things I had too.

So that was the experience Bobby was there for.  Lol, but I always have a hard time trusting my own instincts, so I tend to discount things I probably shouldn't.

Well that's definitely a good experience and it's great that you could experience the same occurance that the homeowner has, this helps the investigation too, I would think. It also makes the homeowner possibly a little more at ease when they realize it wasn't just their imagination or that they've gone crazy or something!

I have had a couple of experiences with the Paranormal, but they are odd compared to other stories.   I can't see ghosts.   I can't see entities or spirits and I know that it's not something that I can do.   I can feel them...well, I know that there is energy of a sentient or semi-sentient nature there.   I just know that they are there.   Sometimes, I get a physical feeling.   There have been times when I could see them psychically and other times, I could feel them there emotion-wise.

The first time that this was a problem was back about four years ago.  I had just arrived my university and it was about a week in.   Well, (now mind this was a conservative christian college that I was attending complete with people whose daily attire included a bible under their arm), one of the people that I had started hanging out with at the time, found out that one of the buildings on campus was supposedly haunted.

So when we went over there on a Saturday night and looked around.   After about a forty-five minute investigation of the building and its surroundings we all met back up outside and were talking.   One of the girls screamed suddenly and pointed towards the building.   Apparently there was a full-body apparition standing just outside the door, watching us.   Everyone could see it...except for me.    I'm standing there going "What is wrong with you people?!"  because they were all screaming and huddled together.

Needless to say, I stopped hanging out with them, mostly because I thought that they were all on crack.

The one time that I have been able to see entities was this past summer.   This past summer was a full one for me.  Complete with training my first student (he lives with me and my boyfriend) and dedicating fully to my path.    Now my friend has always been able to entities.   He describes them as being "disemobied shadows, blogs of black mass, and black blobs."  There is a graveyard within walking distance of where I live.

It's a nice one too.   Quiet and peaceful, even at night.   There are several spirits there, but I wouldn't call this graveyard haunted by a long shot.   We go there a lot and hang out with everybody (everybody as in the spirits).   Now, here in this graveyard, I can actually physical  hear them.    So we were talking and walking around, and my friend mentions to me that  we have about four of them with us.   I shrugged and said something to the effect of 'gee, how nice.  wish I could enjoy their company that way'.   I had not been having a good week.

Well, what happened next was so odd and strange feeling.   One of them asked what I meant.  I told that I could not see them with my physical eyes.  One of them, passed his hands through my eyes.   It was almost like they had just been washed in a really gentle bath, is the best way I can describe it.   After a couple minutes of going, what the hell, I turned around and found myself able to see the four of them.   The effect lasted for of the night.   

So that's my encounters.   And my sorry state of lacking.   I've been taught the ways to make yourself be able to see them and every time I go to try,  I get this feeling of 'that's not your gift.   You have other of being able to see them.   Stop trying to see them this way.'   It's kind of sad because I don't think I'm meant to see them the way (via your physical eyes) that most people do.

*shrugs*  Makes for a dissappointing Halloween.

I have had a few encounters. Nothing major sadly 

When I was younger (the younger teenage years) I had a few odd things happen to me. My family and I lived on 20 acres in an older home that was placed in the middle of the property with lots of woods around and a little stream that ran through. We used to see white wolves around our property a lot, and one night while my friend and I were walking around the woods, we came across my next door neighbor who we always knew was odd (he always talked about how the government had all of us our own tracking satellites and all sorts of governmental things), along with about 5 others around a bonfire and had totem poles up and were chanting. So that was the beginning of my knowledge that the property probably had some activity thanks to them or other reasons they knew about.

All throughout my early childhood and teen years, I could feel strange things around me. I remember seeing shadows and things in my home, and voices waking me up at night.

When my great grandmother became sick a few years ago, I moved in with her, into her basement to keep an eye on her and take care of her. After about another year, she passed on in the living room while myself, my mother, and my grandmother were with her holding her hands. Ever since then, every once in a while, I'll smell her perfume in the house, I still live here. But it's not so much a creepy feeling as much as a feeling of her spirit still here watching over me in a way. It's oddly comforting. One particular instance though, I was walking up the stairs to the kitchen, and I heard her laughing in the other room. It stopped me in my tracks as I looked around for her, but I've never seen her.

All in all, some pretty neat things. Wish I could meet a spirit face to face though, I think that would top it all!
