Hi everyone. The last couple of weeks while at home I have been seeing dark shadow out of the corner of my eye. Not fog like but more like a shadow. I was in the shower yesterday and I looked up and saw a dark shadow on the ceiling. It was so weird! When I opened the shower curtain there was no one there. But the way the shadow was cast on the ceiling it was like someone was standing next to the shower with a light behind them. It made the shadow long and human like. This is the first time something like this has happened. I didn't feel threatened I just felt weird and a little freaked out. After all I was in the shower. The other times I have just caught a glimpse of a shadow.

Until then, I would trust your instincts. You said you didn't feel threatened, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

Things like that can be a bit unsettling. *smiles*
I have seen a few things around and sometimes the startle me, but I usually don't feel threatened. If you do feel threatened let us know?

I have heard that remodeling can sometimes stir spirits or ghost up.

I do agree that the veil is becoming thinner, especially this time of year.

Do you see this with any regularity? Is it always at the same time of day and in the same room? What shape/shapes is the shadow taking? Are you noticing changes in temperature or barometric pressure in your home? And has anyone else in the home seen this also?

I am going to recommend you start keeping a log of sightings. Write down time, date, temperature, a description of what you are seeing, temperature, your feelings especially if there is a mood change, the weather outside, and if there feelings of pressure changes or heaviness. I have to run to dinner but I will be back on shortly with some more to add.

Yes mood changes can be caused by this. And no you are not crazy. You are experiencing something whether it is natural or supernatural. I don't want to say one or the other just for the fact that I have not been in your home to investigate myself. But no you are not crazy at all. The heavy feeling you are experiencing is caused by changes in pressure in your home when this is occurring. You could buy a home weather station for like $10 or so at walmart or radio shack and place the unit in one of the rooms this happens in and the wireless sensor that normally goes outdoors in another room this occurs in to monitor temps. The time of the month this happens most could also indicate if it is related to phases of the moon.

Another thing you may want to include in your log entries is if there is any geo magnetic activity on the days of your sightings. This info can be found easily with a quick google search.

I have a dear friend in Texas who runs a very good group. I will contact her and see if she can get to your area. And if not then she will tell who she works with closer to you.

Good deal. It will give you peace of mind knowing these things are really happening. If you get far enough in between occurrences your mind will try to rationalize what is happening and that is when you think your going crazy. And if you do decide to have your home investigated the log will be a huge help to the team that comes in.

Please keep me updated. Since it is just starting how things progress will give me a good idea of what you are dealing with.

Something you may want to try is to reproduce what you are seeing. Use flash lights or other lights and try to make the shadows your seeing. You may need someone to help you with this. Also pay attention to how the natural comes into your home during the hours your sightings are happening. This is just a way to rule out anything normal causing what you are seeing. Cause once that is ruled out then you have that much more information to work with.

Thanks for the advise. Every bit helps. I haven't heard or seen this shadow in a while. I burned some sage inside and made a circle of salt around my property line. Talk about lots of salt. I guess it worked. I just didn't want to make it mad by doing all this. So I hope everything stays quite.
