I had a little snow up here and maybe some this weekend. It is just so peaceful when it snows I love it. Well only if I don't have to go out in it.

We had some snow for two days and the it warmed up to the upper 60's  EEK!. So now everyone is gonna be sick.

Yeah, we warned up to the 40's and the snow was gone in a few days, but don't fret Twisted, I'll be sure to send more snow your way!  Evil

I always forget the area of Arizona you are in Angela! So it just sounds funny to me when you say you've had snow! lol I've never been to that area of Arizona but I've heard it can get awfully chilly in that area.

Who was asking for snow?  You can have some of ours.  That and the -26 (Celsius) temperatures.  It's not even December yet for crying out loud.

Yeah I remember hearing about tornados up your way in October. Can't say our weather was any better, we had hurricane warnings pop up after hurricane season ended. Now it is January and still in the high 80's and I don't see it getting any cooler.

And people wonder why I'm grouchy around winter. What winter?! Its SUMMER, SUMMER, SUMMER all year round here Laughing

And that is why I live in the north Undead_Elf. I couldn't tolerate having the same weather or season day in and day out.  It greatly affects me, spiritually, mentally, physically. If we are suppose to be cold and we have days were we are in spring like temperatures over a good amount of time. It's like my whole system is just off. I was talking to a friend who lives in the DC area about this last night. They have been in spring like temps most of this winter. And she's the same as me, she said everything just feels off to her. Like something is just not right.  For me, this is the first winter in at least two years that has been relatively normal. We have snow and cold temps and I notice a change in myself from past winters, in a good way, I'm more active and enjoy myself a whole lot more when the temperatures are below 80 degrees!

There has been a several days of winter weather, but it has not been consistent enough in Kansas for me to consider it Winter Season.  Even for a place like Kansas (which has a reputation for changing weather every several minutes), this weather seems to be a bit too off.  Winter comes very late - and sometimes in "bursts" of bad weather - and summers here end up so hot that I might as well do all of my cooking outside.

Sincerely,

I think we are living through a climate change. Recorded weather does not date that far back. Plus with all the other changes in the world it fits. 2012 draws near.
