A pleasure it was for me to find this site during my late night web searching. After a brief read of the home page I decided it would be in my best interest to join this merry group. I am currently new to the Wiccan path and would like to gain as much knowledge as possible. I've feared searching for things on the internet due to the fact that most sites out there are no genuine. I feel this one is not the same as those.

My name is Nathan, I was born in raised in a small town in Missouri and despite the abundant amount of Christian faith around me I could never fit myself into it. After meeting what few Wiccans there are in my area and a great amount of personal debate, due to the fact that before the current months of my life I had become opposed to the idea of religion after my treatment at the hands of my Christian neighbors, I decided that I had found a path that I wanted to walk down and for the right reasons.

My interests in life had for the most part made me an outcast in such a strict place as the one I grew up in. I was reading mythology by the age of ten, my musical choices caused more alienation since most people from my home actually fear it, to give an example some of my favorite bands are Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, and All That Remains. I also enjoy classical and folk music.  I have tested my own musical talents before in various projects, most recently a metal band which is now no more.

When it comes down to it I try to be as friendly as I possibly can, I try to be polite and respectful to everyone around, though I will admit that I have failed before and most likely will again.

This post, I admit may be a bit longer than needed but I usually try to do the best I can at expressing myself to those I meet as long as they wish it.

It is a pleasure to be here, truly and I wish to make the most of it. May I talk to you all more in our coming time here.
