Amazon.com is now selling high quality mp3s without DRM. DRM is digital rights management, a form of copy protection. It can be inhibiting to people, even those who only have legitimate intentions for their music. And the price is .89 a song or less. And full albums start at $4.99.

If your prefer CDs, yourmusic.com has a wide selection for $6.99 including shipping. It works as a subscription service. You pay the $6.99 once a month and set up a que. And once a month a CD from your que is sent to you. But as long as you have your subscription, you can order as many CDs as you want for the $6.99 shipped at any time.

Also if your into indie music like me, then emusic.com is another great subscription service. Pricing starting at $9.99 a month for 30 downloads and going up from there. The more downloads a month you get, the cheaper the price per track gets. And this is the only place to download cool bands like Celldweller, Venus Hum, Godhead, and many more. The mp3s are DRM free and are 192,000 kbps variable bit rate. Which is high quality.

Anyone have any other good sites which are legal, please share them.

Wow! That definitely beats ITunes! I'll have to do some checking on this!
