There is a valley on my island and there is a legend of our own kind of "Headless Horseman" The story goes that if you go to a certain very old grave yard located deep within the forest and drive a stake in to the grave with a certain headstone (I forget the description of it... lets assume it is spooky) that night you will hear a horseman travel up and down the various roads, and trails. If you see the horseman he is supposed to have no head, giving the idea that he was beheaded and that is how he died. The Spirit of this Horseman is supposed to taunt and try to scare you until you remove the stake from his grave.
