Agreed. Country music is for suicidal people who are not fully committed yet. Tongue

Never said I was a fan of Country, just a few songs got my attention. I would never listen to it before because you can only write so many songs about being drunk, your dog dying, and your wife leaving  Laughing

I have a wide range of taste. I am not a fan of country but do love Rascal Flatts. Everything else is metal or hard rock...

Well, I'm gonna stand out from the rest and admit that I AM a fan of country music. I will say, though,  that I have not always been, but have been for over 10 years now. Its definitley not the only type  that I listen to, because I like a little bit of everything, but I do like it, and Twisted, Rascal Flatts is one of my favorites of country music.  Smiley

I like almost any kind of music except for things like rap, hip hop, pop and country. I have nothing against these genres or anyone who likes them, they're just not my cup of tea Tongue. Lately I've been listening to a lot of London After Midnight, Rasputina, Gothic Archies and Grave Flowers. I love depressing music, it makes me feel happy lol.

LOL! I also listen to LAM, and Birthday Massacre, and just about anything that you would hear on a vampirefreaks playlist Laughing I don't have a profile there anymore but that's where I found most of the bands that are in heavy rotation at my house. Especially the guys from Vlad in Tears. They are some of the best guys I've ever met. And they sound great. I would have to recommend their new CD, Seed of Ancient Pain. If you like HIM and Malice in Wonderland, then you'll probably like them too.

You would also find a lot of '80's stuff ( I am 34 Wink ) and some 50's/60's stuff as well. I love the oldies. I also have a weakness for rock operas. Phantom, Tommy, Cats, etc...

As for country? Anything after Ralph Emery went off the air sucks! And don't get me started on Carrie Underwood! That child has haunted me since she was 12. She beat me out of 7 talent shows and 2 agents just because she was younger and "more marketable". ( That from the lips of the last manager who chose her over me.) So I went back to my first love. Good old fashioned rock-n-roll! And as soon as I have this little cub I'm back on stage and coming to a town near you LOL!
