Actually, it's a concept similar to one in Pagan circles.

A vial wouldn't be a viable transfer object though.   In magick, you can charge objects with your own energy.   Which can be used to make emergency batteries.   Charging an object is one of the first things that I learned, because I did it by accident when I was young.

But it takes several weeks of deliberately putting energy into the object in order for it to build up a significant charge.   So the concept could work, it would just take a lot of work from a donor.

The only way I can see for this to be useful would be if your donor had to be away from you for an extended period of time. As Water Rose said, the amount of energy expended would probably drain the person for awhile. It would negate any benefits except in a long term situation.

I first noticed the blood vials back when Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton were wearing vials -supposedly of each other's blood- around their necks.
I think this is about the time they started to become popular and I think it was partly due to media attention.

I do also think there is a need for some vampires to advertise what they are to others. Some for attention, some as a way of being recognized by other Vampires.

It may be the same with the Psi vials.

*shrugs* To each their own.

First off, I'm the inventor of the psi-vials necklaces. They are indeed for decorative and jewelry purposes. however they contain both a chemical (an industrial cyrstal compound stronger than strontium aluminate) and a biological element..which to have that component is a treated form of blue algae and phytoplankton, so they wont decompose.
I thought the idea was neat having both a chemical and biological makeup. the idea was to have a necklace that radiated...blood vials, is geared to more of the sang and goth community, but I felt that a necklace that glowed and radiated represented the psyvamp community better...
(of course if glows because a chemical reaction...and that process produces light energy. )

However I would disagree with peoples statements that is can't store or hold energy, as I have sold a few and continue to do so on request, with a binded construct or servitor attached to them, for various purposes...

Lastly, the necklaces serve as  the main means in which psychic vampire.org stays afloat and pays for itself and any future upgrades or changes...I can not to keep it afloat with my current finances... All money generated from sales of psivials goes directly back into the site and hence back into the OVC.

Whether people choose to wear them because they think the necklaces are kewl...or just to identify with the psivamp community is up to them.

Lono, first of all, welcome to ADN.
I want to thank you for clearing that up and I can completely understand why you are selling them. It's not always easy maintaining a website with costs and things like that.
Thanks again!  Smiley

Thanks for the welcome!

I thought it would be better if I just explained it directly instead of having everyone do guess work about the reasons...lol..

I actually think people might be confused between the necklaces and an object in an rpg game called psi-ops called psivials...(no where on my site does it say they are used for rejuvenation). how people can get the two confused?...I'm not sure..
I actually knew nothing about it untill I googled, after reading one of the previous posts...minor marketing glitch...

nope...not tryin to make a quick buck... Just a site trying to survive Tongue

I'm such a slacker, you would've thought I'd have registered here already...

Greetings lono... I meant no offense by what I said. I simply don't understand the concept I guess. Also, pertaining to the quote above, I have a question. You say that the vials are organic and inorganic, yet you also say that they can be charged for a purpose. Does the energy put off by the algae and phytoplankton interfere with that process? It seems to me it would. Just an honest question.

And I do completely understand the need to make money. We all have to survive. Smiley

Technically not charged...a construct/servitor is different. But It also depends on the Construct. But generally I have found the Cyrstaline nature of the compound to be a decent medium to bind it to as well as the metal cap...Glass itself I have a difficult time attaching constructs to.  As for the algae, If anything it seems to help maintain the constructs integrity, but then its all how you program the construct..

(Though I technically don't make money since it all goes back to the site...I barely clear the monthly charges for the site...I haven't been marketing except for on my site)
