Good Morning Everyone. I have just finished watching The Secret. It actually took me longer than expected due to a salvage attempt on my shed because of a wind storm (the wind won) but any way. Has any one else seen this documentary or read the book of the same name. And If so I'm interested on your thoughts on the topic. For those who haven't heard about it (much like myself until I happened upon it last night) The documentary is much like an infomercial expounding the virtues of positive thinking and the Laws of Attraction. I've personally always been a strong believer of Karma and the three fold laws, but The Secret brings it a step further. Now don't get me wrong, some of the topic of discussion seems a little out of whack with rational thinking at first glance, and, I'm not one to buy into every belief system that comes down the pipe, but by and large it makes sense. With that said and from what I've witnessed both here on ADN and out within the Wiccan community, a majority of this practice is already in effect. So to folks such as us it's not really an earth shattering revelation. There are however, several people that I can think of off the top of my head that this documentary should be slated as mandatory viewing. I'll leave it at that for now and open the floor for discussion. For those who have no idea what I'm rambling about, well, I can't tell you......it's a secret.
