Whispers Estate in Mitchel Indiana is one of the most actively haunted places in the world. If you need proof that the paranormal exists then this is the place. Whispers is a bed n breakfast in the former home of a doctor. This doctor and his wife adopted 2 children when it was learned the wife could not conceive. The daughter, a little girl named Rachel, died from severe burns at Christmas. Back then they used candles on the trees as the time period was before the mass use of electricity. She knocked the tree over catching herself on fire one Christmas morning and dies 2 days later. She is still in the home to this day.

At whispers you don't have to record and check your audio for evidence. You hear her voice out loud. She responds to questions and even more so to singing children's songs.

Whispers Estate is featured in the recent documentory Children of the Grave which is available for purchase on DVD and will be airing on the Sci Fi channel soon. Whispers is also open to the public and can be rented for the night just like any bed and breakfast.

Wow! I haven't heard of Whispers Estate before. I looked it up on Google too and it is a really beautiful house! That would be a neat place to visit and stay at sometime. I've always wanted to stay at one of those Haunted Bed and Breakfast's.
