I like all of them Bobby. My only concern with the fourth one is that it is not a close up shot, do you think thats going to be a problem? My favorites are the 2nd and 3rd one, because they show that your child has some character. I think that is important!
Are you going to enter 6 pictures? Again, Good luck!  Smiley
P.S. Bobby, I was thinking, what about the picture of your son and Splatt that you put in a previous thread? That picture is awefully cute and its a close up, too. I think thats a winner! Just a thought.

Thanks everyone. If I am correct about the 6 entries then I will definitely be entering 6. This past weekend was hectic, and I will be posting about that in another topic. But I will be thoroughly reading the rules and entering soon.

I especially like the last one. The colors are gorgeous and really catch your eyes.

You have a very good eye for composition Bobby.  Thing is I like all of them for different reasons.
Different moods, different things to say. You know what I mean? lol
Sorry I couldn't help you out more.

The first has wonderful lighting, but feels more posed.
The last also has wonderful lighting (both have great shadows).

The last has a sweet and intimate feel, as does the one with the Christmas tree. I love the colors in that one too..

I think those are my three favorites.

You use the rule of three in you shots (for composition) don't you? Is it a conscious thing or not?

Thanks bud. I can actually make 6 entries. So I may be adding to the set and then picking the favorite 6.

I learned the rule of 3rds. But I use it as more of a guideline. You know, learn the rules then break them. Now I just look for the best angles and framing for the shot. And the kids have taught me to think quickly. Tongue
