Xbox 360 gamers will get to experience one of the greatest 2D side scrolling adventures in HD this Wednesday. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night has been announced for release on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade on March 21st. In one of the richest Castlevania gaming experiences, players take on the role of Alucard, a half-vampire (of course, causing his name to be spelled backwards). Shape-shift in wolf, bat and mist forms and take your familiars along through a tour of Dracula's castle. By unlocking the powers of Alucard, you'll get to venture deeper into the gothic adventure.
Game Features include:

- Play the original version of the game or experience it in enhanced mode with improved graphics and modernized audio and sound effects
- New native widescreen and high-definition support
- Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10), this upcoming Wednesday. Time to dust off that Symphony of The Night strategy guide!

Yeah same here, I'm trying to win an Xbox 360 from the school. They are randomly giving them away to students up until January 31st, and all I have to do is check my email account from the school. They decided to do this to get more students to check their email accounts  Laughing

I remember playing Castlevania 4 on my SNES, that had some nice graphics on it and it was the first time that you could use your whip in more than one direction.

Oooo, I'll have to check that game out. Hopefully they have it at Blockbuster. I don't have the money right now to buy.
