We had the final investigation of the old American Standard foundry here in Louisville. The LGHS had many special guests in including my dear friend Shawn Burris of the Ghostman and Demon Hunter show, and Greg Meyers of the Paranormal Task Force as seen in children of the Grave. Greg is also a friend of mine. We also had Julie Valasquez of the Paranormal Underground. There were also groups from Arkansas, North Carolina, and Ohio. We started the weekend off with a party at TKs Pub where the LGHS president Keith Age's band played. Then we took a lot of our guests out to Cave Hill cemetery. It is very old and well known here. At 10pm we started the investigation into American Standard.

On the second floor we found a shadow person which was hiding and checking us out. It was basically playing peek a boo with us. When we got over to where it was and shined a light on the area we saw a pile of junk. The shadow person was moving through the junk without making a sound or disturbing it. Later on the fourth floor we saw another one through the windows in the office at the end of the floor. It was pacing back and forth while watching us. When I got to the office there was no one or no thing in there. It was very cool.

One of the guys from North Carolina got KOed. The people with him reported that something black swirled around his head, then down he went. He said all he remembers walking in, blacking out, and waking up on the floor. The group said they got it all on video and is supposed to put it on their site. If they do I will post the link here.

We ended the weekend with an after party discussing the paranormal. Had home made BBQ ribs and potato salad, parited some more, then called it a weekend. And we wrapped it up in the Ghostman and Demon Hunter shows live chat room during their show last night.

Any investigation that starts AND ends with a party sounds like something I could sink my teeth into.   Grin  To think, all these years my team and I have only been going out after the investigation. Maybe we should start having pre invest beverages too.  Things might make more sense. I'd love to see real video footage of shadow person(s) from a verified investigator.  Orbs are one thing but I've yet to see a shadow person.  Sounds like you had a blast Bobby.

One thing we are known for in the LGHS is having a blast at our events and how well we treat our guest. And this event was no exception. You are always welcome to our annual convention.

I was running our new night shot camera. But it was so cold, 7 degrees outside, 39 inside, that nothing was working very well. so I don't have any footage to share.

I forgot to add that at 3am the inside temp rose to 50 degrees. This is significant because that is the time the shift started and the forge was fired up.  3am is the time of night when the low is reached. Yet the temp still rose 11 degrees.

We had a guest photographer this weekend so I didn't have to be behind the camera for once. Here is some of his work

He is a very talented photographer.  I checked out his work.  "Rest of the soldier" is very poignant.

Yes he is. Better than me. He is supposed to return in the spring and we are going to spend a weekend photographing that cemetery. Cave Hill is enormous. We didn't cover 1/4 of it in the 3 hours we were there. Colonel Sanders is buried there too.
