I was just wondering, what made everyone interested in the paranormal?

I know my interest was when I was younger. I remember watching alot of scary/mysterious movies that dealt with some paranormal/mystical stuff with my dad. My sister for one x-mas got an oujia board and that just perked my curiousity even more. Later I realized that some of my dreams/nightmares weren't just dreams, they had more meanings to them or they dealt with some spirits or entities.

It all just fascinates me. Always has ever since I was a wee lad.

What made me interested in the paranormal were experiences. My cousins and I have always had strange and inexplicable experiences since we were children. The most recent of which was when I was helping my cousin redo the upstairs. We were using the paint rollers spreading primer on the ceiling (with the room well ventilated of course), when we looked over our shoulder for a minute and saw a man with a hat walk by. We looked around to see if anyone was physically there, but found no one.

It is a pretty fun experience most of the time, even though it can be very frightening it feels good at the same time to know that you were able to experience it .
