Okay guys, I have a question for all who care to answer...

Is it hard for any of you to find like minded individuals outside of the net? I don't know what it is but I just feel this need to be able to identify with others outside of this box thingy I call a computer. Don't get me wrong I love all my net buddies but sometimes I just feel like I need that physical and emotional connection that you can only get in person. So am I the only one or what?

I'm fortunate in that I have a meetup group in my area which has a core group of comitted people who I actually click with. Although in my life outside of that, like-minded people are hard to come by. I'm basically a recluse, but I do think that having the face-to-face contact is important.

'Tis why I like the idea of ADN/DE gathering(s) even though the logistics would be a bit maddening.

I am fortunate to have friends who are like-minded as I, but as far as any of them being Wiccan/Pagan, Vampire, or anything, I am too lacking here. The only person off the net who fits into what you are talking about, would be my ex-girlfriend, I met her while I was working for Wal-mart.

I live in Tampa, FL now and there is a decent Wiccan/Pagan organization near USF. I stumbled upon it one day while searching Yahoo Groups. What I am getting at I guess, is keep searching, we are out here somewhere and you'll find one of us close to you. I do like the idea of everyone meeting someday, it would be interesting  Smiley

Wow. Good question.  I guess my answer would have to be, hell ya.  It is hard to meet like minded people outside the "box".  As for connecting with people, well I guess that means you would have to like people to start with.   Grin.  Kidding aside.  I kinda like my secluded life style.  No strings, no complications.  It would be nice at times I guess to sit down over coffee and chat with someone where the topic doesn't involve work related material but thats why I have my extended family, you guys.  I wouldn't say you're the only one though.

A lot of my friends are LGHS members and ghosthunters so it is easy for me. But my dear friends on the net are nice to have also for a different point of view. And you guys are just great to have in my life.
