This is (was) Shalwi_Danz, and no, I don't really have two accounts at the same time. Melissa has graciously accomodated my request for a change of screen name. Shalwi_Danz will be deleted momentarily. Changes have been afoot in my life, so much so that I've shed a skin and feel a great need to bring all parts of myself into alignment and have them reflect my inner core. I've been in lurk mode for the past few months because I needed to unplug and pour some light on some dark corners of my soul. It has been a wild ride. I'm in a new job, a new dwelling, and for post-thanksgiving, my wife and I adopted two cats, a white male and a black female. (Or yin-yang kitties, as the adoption counselor put it.)

The gods spoke softly and hit me over the head with a big hammer, which resulted in me becoming a practitioner of the spiritual path called Asatru. One of the "major" deities in Asatru is Odin. Odin is the god who sacrificed one of his eyes in exchange for great wisdom, which came in the form of the Runes. I'm on my own quest for knowledge, thus the new screen name. (Or alternately William, which is my middle name in the 3-D world.)

Looking forward to jumping back in as time allows.
