This enquiring mind wants to know. Are you an owl? A lark? A lurker in the dark? Do you perk up with the sun? Do you rise when day is done? Do the demands of the work world sync up with your natural rhythm?

I'm a night owl. I worked third shift for a few months and then moved to my current job where I work second shift. I'm more alert at night and I enjoy the relative quiet that the wee hours bring. I've kept an early schedule when life has demanded it, but I would rather greet the rising sun as the last act of my day instead of the first.

I love the night. I usually start to wake right up about 6PM. My job unfortunately, is a day job. It starts at 7AM and usually ends at 9PM.
All my jobs before this were night jobs. They started at 7PM and ended at 7AM. I would love to walk outside with the early morning sun making it's way high into the sky. I would go home and sleep so good and then wake up at 5 or 6 and do it again.
I like the afternoon hours as well but the night is my choice in time to be up!

My natural circadian rhythm is different than the norm. If left to my own I would rise in afternoon and I get sleepy at about sunrise.
My favorite time of day is Twilight-just as the world starts to slip into the night.

I am a night time junky. All my energy tends to over flow when the sun goes down and ebbs off when the sun rises.

I've always been more of a night owl myself. Unless I'm working a day job, then I usually go to bed pretty early.
I'm really funny about having my nights off. I hate mornings, I'm a zombie and moody and mean usually in the mornings,
But I hated working the night shift. I like to enjoy my nights and not be stuck in an office at night. And usually my hours are always off.
Even when I'm working a regular job, on the weekends, I become a night owl again and it all catches up with me in the middle of week and I'm just exhausted.

Sounds like you need a caffeine boost in the morning Melissa  Wink

I love being awake at night and I've had my share of night jobs. Living in Florida you almost have to, it is way to hot and humid to function properly during the day.
