Felt inspired to go out and shoot some frozen trees. Also to try some new stuff processing them in Adobe Lightroom.

All of them are here

Very nice photography, Bobby.  Where were they taken..they remind me of Cherokee park.

Anyways, I thought I'd add a few pictures of my own, if you don't mind.  Here's what we got from the ice storm Thursday on the other side of the River. Smiley

Great photos guys, I wish I could take good photos. Maybe I should take the lense cap off.

Wow! I really like the black and whites Bobby. And Cait, that is an awsome shot of those berries. Very nice composition on that one. I wish I was as good at photography as I am with words and music. But I guess we all have our own talents. Smiley great job guys!

Good joke.
I think it flew by everyone though  Wink

Love the pictures. I might have to borrow one of those for my desktop background if that is ok. We don't see much in the way of seasonal changes down here, quite depressing. Only in Florida can it be in the low 80's for the high today and still be humid enough to see mesquitos

Hey _elf...  Tongue !! WE still have 4-6 inches of snow with more on the way tomorrow. And it was five degrees last night! Gods! I miss Arkansas! We would have already had the onions and potatoes in the ground and the carrots could go out in two-three weeks. My green thumb is itching and there is nothing I can do up here for another 3 months! It's driving me crazy.

We are still under a watering restriction from the summer time and we are experiencing an unusual winter this year, I don't remember the last time it was this warm. I think they forgot winter here and went from Fall straight into Spring  Roll Eyes

Padowan? That's Sith Master to you. As for skill, when you're in your stealth mode you shouldn't talk while your in the bushes and be sure that you are smaller than the tree  you are hiding behind. Not criticizing you just trying to make you better.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

Hey Bobby I wanna know how you do that... I wanna take pictures of my own that look that good...
I got lucky with the processing. I tried a lot of different things with different shots. I used Adobe Lightroom. The composition is just something that comes with practice. I was told by a wise photographer once, your first 10,000 shots will be your worst. I probably have about 14,000 under my belt now.

Nickster you make me better just being my friend. Hugs But if Cait is jumping in I'm running and hiding behind Keith.

Will have to look into lightroom and see what I can do. I have to admit, I do not have that many pictures under my belt but I have always had an interest in photographer. Just never knew how to start..

Just start shooting, especially if it's digital. Practice practice practice. If you want I can point you to a good photography forum with very friendly people.
