Prolific author he may be, but I have never read any of Dean Koontz' books... until now.

I began this series with the third book, Brother Odd, and got hooked. I love this character for his humility and wit; he is very similar to another fictional character I am quite fond of (Harry Dresden) in this way.

Terrible Chester has got to be one of the best names for a cat I have ever seen!  Laughing

Odd Thomas is one of my favorite series of books ever. But you really need to read the first book immediately followed by the second to fully understand everything that is going on. And while you are at go ahead and read Brother Odd again after the first 2.

The unabridged audio books of this series are top notch. The same person reads all 3 books and does an excellent job of portraying Odd Thomas.

I have read all three by now, which does clarify much.

And thank you again for that link. Smiley
