Diet and the Vampire
I bring up the topic of diet for the Vampire because we tend to have issues in this area. I have seen many a vampire have a weight problem due to the fact that we feel tired and weak when we need to feed so we eat. We all know all too well that eating doesn't help fulfill the kind feeding we need, yet our bodies still tell us to eat for energy. There are those that eat and eat and never gain a pound, and I'll bet they are the same ones who burn through feedings just as quickly. A proper diet can help with both of these circumstances.
Many of us have a poor diet to begin with which only weakens our condition. Fast food is a big problem in the United States and big cities around the world. Along with meat that is full of hormones and antibiotics that we don't need, and a lack of vegetables and fruits all leads to a very unhealthy vampire. Remember that all things have an energy imprint. So think about the imprint of the food that you eat. Was your meat killed or raised in an inhumane way? Are your fruits and vegetables frozen or canned losing nutrients, and filled with preservatives for freshness? Look at your food and imagine the energy imprint that is left on it. It picks up all the people that have handled it as well, where is your food from? Food bought from local markets will have less handling more nutrients, and a stronger energy imprint that tends to be much more positive.
The best thing we can do for ourselves is to eat a proper diet and get plenty of exercise. Think about this...when you eat a poor diet, you have excess fat which leads to higher cholesterol, which leads to higher blood pressure, which causes poor circulation, and if your blood isn't flowing properly this affects your over all energy levels. How open can your chakras be if your blood isn't flowing properly? All your body's systems work together including your energy centers. It is vital that we keep our chakras healthy and are open to accepting energy from other sources than food.
When you complain that you can not feed, can not grab energy from other sources, or that your are grabbing it but not digesting it think of your diet. Have you been ill a lot lately? This too can cause a lack of energy digestion. But I have found from talking with several people that their diet tends to be a culprit of both illness and energy deficiency. I have even talked to Sanguines that can not absorb energy from blood anymore, when asked about their diet, they usually confess that they have slacked and been eating out more than usual.
A healthy body, mind, and soul will lead to less cravings, and less feeding. In a time where finding a donor can be a hard thing to find, a healthy diet is a good supplement in between feedings and can sustain you for longer periods of time. So next time you see the fast food drive through think again, how much more trouble would it be for you to drop into the local grocer on your way home? If you absolutely have to eat there, why not have a healthy alternative to a burger, such as a salad or chicken. Instead of the milkshake, try the yogurt. Just some food for thought.
